Data protection
This text is a working draft written for the initial launch. It must be reviewed by a lawyer before the service opens, particularly against the revised Federal Act on Data Protection.
We collect personal data for one reason: to offer you roles or to present you candidates. Here is what we keep, why, and how you take back control of it.
What we collect
For coaches: identity, contact details, canton and travel radius, working languages, qualifications and their expiry dates, experience, availability, and the supporting documents you send us. For operators: the professional contact details of the named contact and the description of the need.
Why we keep it
To verify your qualifications, show you relevant roles, alert you before a brevet expires, and run the site.
Who can see it
Our team, and operators who have posted a listing and can consult the register — your contact details are never passed to them directly: they go through us, and you decide whether to reply.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to see your record, correct it, withdraw it from the register or have it deleted. An email is enough and we act on it promptly.
How long
We keep a record active for as long as you want to stay on the register. If we cannot reach you for two years, we withdraw it and tell you we have.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in Switzerland: the database and the brevets you upload are held on servers in Zurich. Two clarifications, in fairness. The site’s pages are rendered on servers in the European Union, as our hosting provider runs no Swiss infrastructure. And payments go through Stripe, whose servers sit outside Switzerland — only what the transaction needs goes there. In both cases your professional record itself stays stored in Switzerland.
